Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to everyone who uses SemAgent services — account holders (tenants), authorized users, end users interacting through the widget, and visitors. This Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Service; a breach of it is a breach of the agreement.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use, or allow anyone to use, SemAgent to:

• Illegal activity: any act that violates applicable law, or the generation, storage or distribution of illegal content.
• Harm to others: harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, incitement to violence, or promotion of self-harm or suicide.
• Child safety: any content that exploits or endangers children — zero tolerance; such content is reported to the relevant authorities.
• Privacy violations: collecting personal data without consent, surveillance, profiling, or disclosing others' information.
• Security abuse: malware, phishing, unauthorized access, circumventing security controls, or attempting to overload the service (DoS).
• Deception and fraud: impersonation, forgery, misleading claims, unsolicited bulk messaging (spam), or automated abuse.
• Intellectual-property infringement: uploading or processing copyrighted, trade-secret, or third-party content for which you lack the necessary rights or permission.
• High-risk autonomous use: automating decisions that directly affect people in areas such as health, legal, finance, employment or safety without adequate human oversight.
• Deceptive AI use: concealing that a person is interacting with an AI where applicable law requires disclosure.
• Platform abuse: circumventing credit/usage limits, reverse-engineering the service, unauthorized resale, or placing disproportionate load on shared infrastructure.

3. Rules specific to agent use

With autonomous agent features you may act only on accounts and systems you are genuinely authorized to use. Disabling, bypassing, or instructing others to bypass the approval layers designed for harmful or irreversible actions is prohibited. You remain responsible for ensuring that actions taken on connected third-party accounts (e.g. e-commerce, social media) comply with those services' terms.

4. Content and data responsibility

You are responsible for the data you upload to your knowledge base and for the actions your agent takes. You undertake not to upload personal data you have no lawful basis to process. How data is handled: Privacy Policy.

5. Enforcement

If this Policy is breached, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate the account, and notify the relevant authorities where required. For serious or ongoing breaches, these measures may be taken without prior notice.
